Some common foods that cause inflammation and reduce healing:
- Dairy, milk, cheese
- Grains, bread, pasta, cereal
- Cured meats, salami, bacon
- Processed food, pastries, cake, sugary drinks
- Fried foods, potato chips, french fries, fried chicken
These foods are harder to digest by our bodies, they cause inflammation in our gut, feed the bad bacteria in our intestines, and in some cases they get into our blood stream causing the body to have allergic reactions. This can vary for different people. Some people feel chronically tired and some get chronic headaches, joint pain, and even auto-immune responses.

I decided to do the PNP to get a better handle and understanding of my diet and eating habits.
I expected to maybe lose a pound or two, but that it would be very difficult to adjust to the eating program changes. The hardest thing for me to give up was alcohol.
I was surprised by the results. During the program, I was having incredible sleep quality. At the end of the program, I lost a total of seven pounds, which was surprisingly high for me since I do not carry a lot of weight on my frame.
At the end of the program the first time around is a bit of a relief. Having never done such a regimented program before, it was hard to make it the full period. But feels great towards the end and after completion. It is more of a mental exercise than a physical test.
Prior to the program I was eating late in the evenings often after my kids went to bed. Additionally, I felt like I always had to eat first thing in the morning. After the PNP, I did not have as many cravings or moments of eating weakness. It helped steer me into cutting out all eating or snacking after dinnertime and ultimately guided me to a path of time restricted eating. The program has helped me reverse the pattern of eating and food controlling my day.
I have done the program two additional times since the first time and do it on an annual basis. During the second time, I paired it with the regular exercise I was doing. During the third time, I added 16-hour daily fasting into it. I now incorporate time restricted eating on a daily basis. I no longer spend time thinking about diet or fasting. It is just habit now. I still eat on a regular basis outside of the program guidelines, but I have a better understanding of the consequences and body responses so I know what I am walking into.

I decided to do the Platinum Nutrition Program even though I was a bit skeptical, but I thought it would help jump start my journey to get healthier.
The results were so much more than I could have ever anticipated. I felt amazing during the program. I did not even realize that I was not feeling well until I started the PNP. I had just been so used to being tired and blah all the time.
During this Program I regained my energy, I lost some weight, my skin looked better and overall I felt so much better. I will be doing the PNP again.
